CRAFT ROOM - The Craft Room is available for use by Retama Village residents and guests. Check the monthly calendar to find out when the quilters and the crafters are working on projects or just come on your own and use the facilities.
Craft Room TV/Satellite Service -
- The Samsung “smart” TV has satellite service as well as a hard wired connection to the internet.
- We have a Blu-ray DVD player connected to the TV as well as the sound bar for DVD video or good old fashioned audio (CD) playback.
- There is a 3.5 mm audio cable connected to the sound bar for an iPod, cell phone or any other such device for audio playback.
- The soundbar has Bluetooth capability for audio playback from Bluetooth enabled devices.
- We have an Ethernet cable (internet connectivity) and HDMI cable (audio/video to TV and soundbar) for connecting a laptop computer, etc.
- There is both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-fi connectivity that is currently enabled. The password is the same as the clubhouse: RetamaVillage77.
A. USAGE.
The Craft Room is open 24/7. During the summer months when many people travel, the center may be closed with the air condition system turned off. The center can be used at any time, by anyone, as long as it doesn't interfere with scheduled activities. The last person leaving the Craft Room should turn off the lights. As with all buildings and facilities, all persons using the Craft Room do so at their own risk. The residents are responsible for the behavior of their guests.
B. No glass containers please. Use only unbreakable, capped, and spill-proof containers.
C. Please, no food or alcohol
D. Reservations for activities for the Craft Room can be made with the Calendar Administrator
E. When finished, please be sure that the Room is clean and the furniture in its original place.
F. The Room can be used for multiple activities as long as the activities are compatible.
G. Activities generally will be included on the monthly calendar of events.

Lockable cabinets have been installed and keys are available from the Retama Manager for those who wish to have a place to store projects.
