The Gun Range is located on Mike Rhodes' property on the southern side of the canal between Bentsen Palm RV Resort and the Bentsen-Rio Grand Valley Park(World Birding Center).  The location is not on GPS and it is recommended to follow these directions as some of the other ways to the Gun Range at closed at times by the Border Patrol.

Turn right out of Retama Village onto Bentsen Palm Drive going North and turn East onto Military Drive and proceed past Schuerbach Rd to just past the reservoir and just over the canal and turn right onto the road towards the Border Patrol facility.

Turn on to Fisher Rd (not marked) and then veer to the right towards the Border Patrol Tower.

As a perspective, you can continue down the road to the Rhodes Palapa and the docking area for the Bentsen Palm RV Resort boat.
