We needed to amend our Trust that was written in New Mexico back in 2008 & there were some changes we wanted to make. We also needed to update our healthcare directives & power of attorney to conform to the TX state requirements. My brother-in-law, nephew & niece (all attorney's) always told me to research through the Martindale- Hubblell website to find an attorney in the area of practice I needed. They also said to look for one that had An AV Preeminate rating. I found several in the area that did trusts that had good credentials & reviews but one of them associated with a large practice & semi retired. I decided to contact Michael Daley who met all the requirements I was looking for I liked the fact that he had his own practice. I contacted his office I spoke with him about our needs. He gave me an estimated quote on the phone which I thought was very reasonable we schedule an appointment for the following week. He went through our existing trust from New Mexico said that most of the trust was good as is but made some very good recommendations to include in the amendment. When we returned he went through all the changes with us page by page did not rush us. He provided us hard copies for our binder as well as electronic files that could be forwarded to the executor of the trust. The bill was exactly what he estimated when I called him. I highly recommend him. His credentials are excellent, he is very down to earth, doesn't rush you, prices are VERY reasonable he knows his stuff! He has several employees who work with him.
